| During September
and October the darling from Darling,
our very own Evita Bezuidenhout visited
The Hydro. Once again she embraced us
all with her presence and reminded us
to always be “Proudly South African”.
As a busy ambassador of our country,
she needed to take personal time out
before kicking off a whole lot of new
projects, TV shows, campaigns and many
more. As she one morning mentioned...
|
| ”
Skattie’s, people tend to wait
too long before they actually listens
to their body’s needs, It’s
time for me to get back on the track”. |
Leading a
busy lifestyle and increasing demands
from all sides of life can easily
cause an imbalance in our lives, which
in turn is exacerbated by unhealthy
eating and stress. This results in
symptoms such as obesity, sleeplessness,
tiredness, constant headaches and
lack of concentration. It is important
for us to maintain a balanced lifestyle
with a clear mind, healthy body and
positive mental attitude.
So with the above in mind her journey
towards wellbeing started. Tannie
Evita had weekend responsibilities
back in Darling, which meant that
we had to plan her programme to fit
her busy schedule in the outside world,
but also allow |
|
enough time
for relaxation (and the odd changing
of a flat tire) before dashing off
on business.
Two weeks of lifestyle consultations,
slimming and toning treatments, exercise
programmes, massages, hydrotherapy,
healthy eating programmes –
just to name a few, formed part of
Evita’s body make-over. On weekends
she had to stick to the routine and
continue to follow her fruit diet.
“Difficult? Of course, the first
few times you feel like saying yes
please for a fresh Koeksister, but
once you get into the habit the temptations
melts away.” “It
was all worth it my dear” she
said, “Every time I felt like
cheating I picked up a 5 kilo pack
of Maize to remind me that I do not
want this weight back on me.”
The routine paid off with a loss
of over 10 kilograms, a glowing complexion
and an even sharper sense of humour.
We like to think The Hydro had something
to do with it, but why not read all
about it and share Tannie Evita’s
health holiday memories appearing

To help us celebrate a great 2008
